In 2004 -2005 the 15 townhouses in Compass Pointe were built as part of the multimillion dollar redevelopment of Seaview Island in Neptune. The townhouses have 2 or 3 bedrooms and a garage as part of the three level homes, as well as a deck to enjoy the breezes and the views of Shark River and marinas.

The Seaview Island and Concourse neighborhood features public and private marinas and a Yacht Club. Nearby are restaurants, shopping and the Jersey Shore beaches.

The Neptune Township Schools provide education to students in K-12. There are five elementary schools, one middle school and Neptune High School. Students from Compass Pointe will attend Shark River Elementary School, Neptune Middle School and Neptune High School. Other schools in the area are Holy Innocents and St Rose.
